Mrs. Casie Clark’s 3rd graders at Garden City are working hard, from home or school! In her efforts to transition to a more meaningful and virtual friendly alternative to traditional worksheets, Mrs. Clark discovered Kami.

Kami allows users to upload a PDF to create a digital, interactive worksheet. Worksheets can be shared with students as assignments where students can respond to questions and even interact with text through notations right on their screens! Kami is even able to read PDF text aloud to students as they work.

Clark says that she chooses Kami over other competitors because of its simplicity and range of tools. It has assisted her in reaching her students and differentiating to fit the needs of all students. In a remote setting, Kami has provided opportunities to support necessary scaffolds to students that could not be done on other platforms. Clark knows that less is sometimes more. Being able to streamline everything into one app allows her more time to design excellent learning experiences for her students and target their specific needs.
