Courtney James is a 3rd grade teacher at Robey. "This year, I have had the opportunity to pilot Eureka for math. It has many free videos/digital resources that allow students to give me quick digital assessment data. It also allows me to co-teach with another Eureka Educator. Further, we utilize our relatively new Pearson Reading Series and it allows students to be able to choose between a digital or a traditional physical book as we learn our weekly reading skills. My students and I love to utilize the breakout rooms in Google Meets which allows students to take on the role of being a teacher when I am not with them. Finally, some fun interactive ways of learning, my students and I like to use UJU Movement Break Videos on Youtube, virtual field trips, and Kahoot to help fire up our brains and engage with our learning."
